Cellulose insulation is composed of bits of recycled newspaper shredded, and then blown in a cavity to insulate the area. Cellulose insulation is very efficient, and extremely Eco-friendly. Its R-value of 3.2 per inch installed, is higher than that of fiberglass. The most common applications for cellulose insulation are attic spaces, and walls. Cellulose insulation works as a thermal and sound barrier, is fire retardant, and moisture resistant. For a free estimate click on the contact page and fill in your project details.
Fiberglass insulation is the most common insulating material found in homes today. Fiberglass insulation is comparable in price to cellulose but even more economical to install. Blown fiberglass can be applied to attic spaces, walls, and crawl spaces. Fiberglass insulation can also be used as a sound barrier, and is fire and moisture resistant. Fiberglass insulation also contains recycled components which make it a “green” product. Click here to be directed to our contact page for a free estimate for blown in fiberglass insulation.
